It was a wonderful experience for me to camp in the jungle near a waterfall and brook in Vermont, USA. 

First time in my life experienced camping in a deep forest. We were ten people who went to Vermont for camping from Boston. We stayed one night and two days.

We booked the campsite through HipCamp. Our campsites’ specialty is it was near a waterfall. So we heard the noise of the waterfall all the time. 

We had lots of fun. Started journey on Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, and returned to Boston, Massachusetts, the next day, July 17. 

It took about three and half hours to reach our campsite at Plainfield in Vermont. We had a total of four cars. All the people arrived around 2:pm. 

We did set up two tents side by side. After setup the tent, we had our lunch with Brainy, cooked at home by Rajib Bhai’s wife. Brainy was frozen. We brought them into the ice cooler. 

After lunch, we did a hike to the brook, where we planned to take a shower. So we walked for about 20 minutes. We took some pictures there. The water was so cold, and I was hesitant to shrink in the water. So I took a shower, and at last, all of them. We spent there about one hour. 

I felt so fresh after taking a bath in the natural water. So we came back to the camp and made tea with milk. We brought all the ingredients and a propane stove. So we had homemade-style milk tea with Jall Muri at the campsite. 

After the tea party, we explored the surrounding area. We found a lake where fishing is allowed. We spent some time there and came back to the campsite.

We start preparing for the BBQ. First, we did the BBQ chicken and made burgers with the beef patty. There was a firepit, so we also did the fire camp simultaneously. The host lady came to us to show us how to use the firepit. 

We were all full after the BBQ. All the team members circled the firepit, and it was a great feeling to get some warmth in the 65 degrees. 

At midnight, Sayed Farazi wanted to feel the deep dark and walk by the trail. So we all decided to walk in the dark. I and all of them were slightly nervous because of the darkness. However, we saw lots of stars in the sky. 

We slept five members in each tent. Unfortunately, two members had to come back to Boston because of work. So when I woke up around 8:am, I missed them. We made milk tea again and had breakfast with tea and cookies. 

After the tea, we started cooking the khichuri. Faisal Bhai brought the cooked beef from home. So we cooked khichuri with meat. Bellal Mamu was the main Chef for the khicuri. 

Rhedoy found the actual waterfall near the campsite. And that was a little wider than the other. So we all retook a shower in the morning. 

Around 1 pm, we headed back home to Boston.
