Hello, I am Md Monirujaman Khan, but you might know me better as Monir Khan. Today, I want to share that I am running for the treasurer position at BANE.
Born and raised in the vibrant culture of Bangladesh and now deeply rooted in New England, I've always felt a strong bond with the Bangladeshi community here. Over the years, I've combined my passion for technology with a heart that's eager to serve our community. Educational and Professional Background: I earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the esteemed University of Massachusetts Boston. To stay updated in the ever-evolving IT realm, I've added certifications such as the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and the Google IT Automation with Python Professional Certificate to my credentials. I've dedicatedly served as an IT Support System Analyst at Baycove Human Services and contributed as a Junior Web Developer at GoingClear Interactive Inc. Technical Expertise: In my professional journey, I've honed a diverse skill set – from cloud services like AWS EC2, AWS VPC, and AWS RDS to web development tools like PHP, WordPress, and Laravel. My attention to detail, crucial for managing IT systems, will serve me well as treasurer, ensuring meticulous management of funds. Community Engagement: Outside the professional realm, I take pride in being an active member of our community. I currently serve on the director board of the SCCH - Islamic Society and Cultural Center of Hyde Park. This role, combined with my professional insights, equips me with a comprehensive understanding of financial and organizational management. My Vision for BANE: Inspired by the values of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), I deeply cherish principles like trustworthiness and integrity. As your treasurer, my commitment is to uphold financial transparency, ensure the judicious use of resources, and strengthen the ties within our Bangladeshi community in New England. With a blend of my technical know-how, hands-on experience, and community engagement, I believe I am well-suited for the treasurer position at BANE. I humbly seek your support and blessings as we envision a more united and thriving future for BANE.
